Yosemite Reservations Required for Summer 2025

If you’re planning a trip to Yosemite National Park next summer, be aware that vehicle reservations will be required on certain days between May 24 and September 1, 2025. This applies to all visitors driving into or through the park between 6 a.m. and 2 p.m. on the dates listed below.

Here’s a quick breakdown of when reservations are required:

  • May 24–26 (Memorial Day Weekend): Saturday through Monday
  • June 15–August 15: Every day
  • August 30–September 1 (Labor Day Weekend): Saturday through Monday

You will not need a reservation from May 27–June 14 or August 16–29.

Important: Even if you’re just driving through the park, you’ll still need a reservation if you’re entering between 6 a.m. and 2 p.m. If you’re planning to visit after those hours, please do not arrive before 2 p.m. Vehicles blocking roadways while waiting will be cited.
