Summer in Mammoth Lakes is known for long mountain days, scenic trails, alpine lakes, and evenings that feel made for slowing down. This July, visitors can add live music to the list with the return of the Unbound Chamber Music Festival.
Presented by Chamber Music Unbound, the 2026 Unbound Chamber Music Festival brings classical performances to Mammoth Lakes from July 15–26. Concerts take place at Cerro Coso College, offering an intimate and memorable way to experience the arts while visiting the Eastern Sierra.
A Summer Music Tradition in the Mountains
The festival features Wednesday and Friday evening concerts, along with Sunday afternoon performances, making it easy to build live music into your summer itinerary.
The festival offers a relaxed and enriching way to enjoy Mammoth beyond the trails, whether you’re a longtime chamber music listener or simply looking for something special to do after a day outside. For guests staying at Alpenhof Lodge, the festival is a wonderful addition to a summer getaway. Enjoy a day outside, dinner in The Village or around town, and an evening concert that adds something special to your trip.
