Mammoth Feel Good Festival
A perfect way to kick off the Summer season! With groovy bands and a selection of craft beers to taste, the Feel Good Festival is a great way to embrace the warmer weather and long mountain days.
JULY
GiddyUp Mammoth
Mild daytime temperatures and cool evenings are the perfect way to start July. The GiddyUp Festival features emerging country music artists at The Village Plaza in Mammoth Lakes. Bring your chair, canteen, and boots. There’s bound to be a star you won’t want to miss on the stage, and this is your opportunity to see them for free before they hit the big time.
Mammoth Jazzfest & Villagefest
Mammoth Jazzfest and Mammoth Villagefest have been a cornerstone of the Mammoth Lakes summer social scene for years. Mammoth JazzFest is all about refreshing, renewing, and reinventing jazz in Mammoth Mammoth Lakes, while VillageFest is about embracing all that summer has to offer with warm nights, dancing, and good food.
Friday night JazzFest festivities include a wine walk (ticketed) through The Village at Mammoth with a side of jazz music. Tickets for the wine walk can be purchased in advance or at the event. Mammoth Jazzfest lets you experience a mix of contemporary, fusion, Latin, and other genres of jazz music.
Villagefest is a summer tradition in Mammoth Lakes. You won’t want to miss the most popular performance of the summer season, Pink Froyd, wrap up this great festival.
Mammoth Reggae Festival
Visit Mammoth Lakes in late July and take advantage of three days of free music and fun at the Mammoth Reggae Festival. The festival takes place in the Village at Mammoth, where you’ll have access to food, drinks, and good vibes. Between sets, browse the vendor stalls for crafts, specialty foods, and other offerings.
AUGUST
Mammoth Festival of Beers & Bluesapalooza
The Mammoth Festival of Beers & Bluesapalooza is an event locals and visitors alike plan their summers around. Music begins on Thursday evening and runs through Sunday, with a huge line up of acts taking the stage throughout the weekend.
Mammoth Margarita Festival
This annual festival celebrates Latin America’s most famous spirits each year during the second week of August. The Mammoth Margarita Festival features a margarita alley and a tasting of more than 20 premium tequila distilleries, as well as free live music.
Mammoth Rocks & Taste of the Sierra
Late summer is the season of rock in Mammoth Lakes. Mammoth Rocks & Taste of the Sierra takes place in the Village at Mammoth and is free to the public. SEPTEMBER
Mammoth Rock N Rye
Over Labor Day Weekend, Mammoth Rock N Rye takes over the Village at Mammoth with even more rock music. Entertainment runs Friday through Sunday. Past lineups have included Reverend Tall Tree, Young Dubliners, Cashed Out, and more.
But music isn’t the only excitement happening at the festival. Whiskey and rye tastings (ticketed) open up Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
