Based on the amount of snow we’ve received so far here in Mammoth Lakes, CA, you wouldn’t believe that it’s still technically the off season for a few more weeks! Have no fear though, there is still plenty of fun to be had for the whole family. Here’s what to look out for this month:

 

  1. Ski Mammoth Mountain

Have you heard the news?! Mammoth Mountain is under 60” of fresh snow after an early season storm delivered one the biggest November snow totals on record in the Eastern Sierra. For reference this is already the snowiest November of the last 10 years at Mammoth (and it's only early November).

  1. Cross Country Ski at the Tamarack Cross-Country Ski Center starting November 19th!

Calling all Nordic Skiiers! On November 19th, enjoy the  groomed trails of The Tamarack Cross Country Ski Center. They offer 19 miles of groomed trails in the Mammoth Lakes Basin. Don’t worry if you’ve never tried this sport before — the center offers lessons and equipment rental.

  1. Participate in the Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving Morning!

Looking for a way to challenge yourself, get outside, and join in on the community fun on Thanksgiving morning? Consider Mammoth Lakes' annual Turkey Trot on November 24th!

 

Get Thanksgiving off to a healthy start and participate in Mammoth Track Club's family-friendly 2K fun run through The Trails neighborhood & Town of ML bike path!
