Early Season Winter Activities In Mammoth Lakes, CA

We’re still in the shoulder season here in Mammoth Lakes! Have no fear though, there is still plenty of fun to be had for the whole family. Here’s what to look out for this month:

  1. Ski Mammoth Mountain

Can you believe it’s that time of year already?! After last years eternal winter, we hope that your ski legs have had some time to rest, because it’s once again time to hit the slopes! Mammoth Mountain will be open come early November. Join in on the fun at opening day on November 10th from 8:30am-4pm. Book your winter getaway at the Alpenhof Lodge today!

  1. Cross Country Ski at the Tamarack Cross-Country Ski Center starting November 19th!

Calling all Nordic Skiiers! On November 18th, enjoy the  groomed trails of The Tamarack Cross Country Ski Center. They offer 19 miles of groomed trails in the Mammoth Lakes Basin. Don’t worry if you’ve never tried this sport before — the center offers lessons and equipment rental.

  1. Participate in the Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving Morning!

Looking for a way to challenge yourself, get outside, and join in on the community fun on Thanksgiving morning? Consider Mammoth Lakes’ annual Turkey Trot on November 23rd!

Get Thanksgiving off to a healthy start and participate in Mammoth Track Club’s family-friendly 2K fun run through The Trails neighborhood & Town of ML bike path!
